The Four Year UG Honours program in Psychology places a strong emphasis on critical thinking, research skills, and ethical practices, supported by advanced Psychological Laboratories and hands-on experiences.
At St. Xavier’s Arts and Science College, the Department of Psychology offers a holistic educational experience that nurtures overall personality and skill development, ensuring our graduates are well-equipped to make meaningful contributions to society.

The M.Sc. Psychology program offers a comprehensive exploration of individual, group, and environmental behavior, integrating diverse theories and perspectives. Rooted in cultural awareness and with a global outlook, the program emphasizes the development of cognitive, affective, and behavioral skills to shape responsible and responsive citizens. The curriculum is designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in areas such as cognition, personality, health, social psychology, clinical psychology, organizational behavior, counseling, and research. As a two-year, continuous regular program, it prepares students to address social and cultural concerns while fostering a deep understanding of psychologicalconcepts and their real-world applications
